| Calgary offers activities for a non-fishing day or a non-fishing
companion. The Calgary Stampede is world famous, which takes
place early July. Calgary also offers several music festivals
throughout the summer months. We are located so close to the
Rocky Mountains you will feel like you could walk there in an
hour or so. The drive to the Rockies is short and the scenery
is long, with incredible views from every direction you turn.
Banff, Lake Louise, Kananaskis, the Columbia Ice-fields are
all within a short drive away. Other sites you may want to
take in are the Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump just south of
the City of Calgary or to the North there is the Tyrell Dinosaur
Museum.
Alberta is a great place to visit with lots to see and do.
